The aim of Heart Health Heroes is to break down the info into bite-sized chunks so that you can understand what's happening in your body and make small changes for the benefit of your heart.
We'll cover how your heart and cardiovascular system work, with actionable steps that you can implement to protect your heart. You'll also have the opportunity to join our private support group to help you stay on track with your goals.

We've tried to keep it as simple and easy-to-follow as possible, so that you can go from square one to confident in knowing how to look after your heart.

Introduction Module: Welcome
A quick welcome to the program to show you around the everything we use to run it, so you'll know exactly how access everything you need to get the most out of the program.
Module 1: Understanding the Healthy Heart
Find out what the cardiovascular system is and how the heart, blood and blood vessels work together to pump the things your body needs to the right places, at the right time.
We'll start with how the heart works and what the cardiovascular system does to keep your body alive and when you are healthy.
Module 2: Understanding Heart Disease
Next we're going to dive into what can go wrong... and why it does. Once you understand the why, the solutions you can use to protect your heart are much more intuitive.
You will find out more about high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, arrhythmias, heart attack, stroke and heart failure.
Module 3: Where Do You Stand?
Each of us is different but there are a few specific factors that are particularly important for heart health.
You'll find out about the impact of your family history, blood pressure, weight, diet, exercise, smoking, cholesterol, age and other health conditions on the health of your heart.
Module 4: Food For Your Heart
One of the most important factors for keeping your heart healthy is what you feed your body. In this section, we'll dive into some specific strategies for healthy-heart eating.
You'll find out about nutritional strategies and certain foods that can help to protect your heart by lowering your blood pressure or cholesterol levels. You'll also get access to meal plans to help you put it into action!
Module 5: Living for a Healthy Heart
It's important to incorporate everything about your lifestyle and really live in a way that does the best for your heart.
You'll find out about how physical activity, your daily routine, stress and sleep can affect the health of your heart. Plus BONUS guides to help you develop good sleep and exercise routines.
Module 6: Medications For Your Heart
While we encourage you to try diet and lifestyle methods before turning to medications, but there's no doubt they can be helpful to help you heart cope with the stress of powering your body.

Module 7: The Future For Your Heart
Finally, we're going to be looking towards the future and what's next for continued good heart health and what to do if problems strike.
You'll find out the most important factors to keep an eye on to stay on track for a healthy heart. We've also included a check-up worksheet that you can use regularly see how your body is changing and make changes if necessary.

When does it start?
We officially kick off with the content Heart Health Heroes on the 29th of May, 2017. If you purchase before then, you'll get a handy discount for being an early bird supporter of the program. In the meantime, we'll get the private community started so that you can start getting your questions answered right from day 1!
How long will I have access to it for?
Once you enroll, you will have unlimited access to the Heart Health Heroes program for as long as you like - lifetime access across any and all devices you own. This includes the content in the program modules and the support from our private community.
How does the program work?
There is core content separate into seven main modules for you to work through. These modules cover how the heart and cardiovascular system work, diet and lifestyle modifications to protect your heart and the role of medications for heart health. You can access the content from any device - your computer, phone or tablet or work fine!
What is the private community?
Our private community is a closed group on Facebook. Only the members of the group can see your posts (and not your normal Facebook friends) so we can ask questions and help each other out through struggles as we face them. This is where the real change in your life starts to take place, and what sets Heart Health Heroes apart from other programs!
Can I ask Yolanda questions directly?
Sure can. I will always be around in our private community to answer any questions you may have and you can feel free to send me an email if you've got any personal questions.
